How to add facility

Add your facilities to MoonOne and control them using various system features.

Upon creating your account, a farm named "Facility 1" will be automatically created. You can change this name anytime by navigating to Facilities → Edit.

How to add a facility

  1. Go to Settings → Facilities in your account.

  2. Click Add facility.

  3. Enter the facility's name.

  4. Enter the facility's short name. You can use it to generate cell indexes in topology.

  5. Choose one or more options for facility:

    • Staff Management: Oversee staff and regulate access.

    • Client Management: Control your clients efficiently by keeping track of their services and billing them promptly.

    • Meter Data Management: Streamline data collection from meters. Coming soon

    • Warehouse Management: Optimize warehouse operations and inventory control. Coming soon

  6. Click Save.

Facilities appear under the Facilities section, where you can edit details and settings anytime. Deactivate a facility by toggling off the "Active" switch to stop data collection and restrict access.

FAQ

Why don't I see the facility section?

If the facility section is missing from your interface, ensure you have proper permissions by contacting your administrator. The interface might be customized for your role or the feature might be disabled.

How do I add a new facility?

To add a new facility, navigate to Settings → Facilities and click on the Add Facility button. Fill out the necessary details in the form provided and ensure all required fields are completed. After entering all information, click Save to create the new facility.

How do I edit a facility's information?

To edit a facility, go to Settings → Facilities. Click on the facility you wish to edit and update the necessary fields. Once done, make sure to click Save to confirm your changes.

Can I delete a facility?

Currently, facilities cannot be permanently deleted. You can deactivate them by toggling off the "Active" switch to halt data collection and access. All previously collected data will still be retained and accessible if the facility is reactivated in the future.

How do I reactivate a facility?

To reactivate a facility, navigate to Settings → Facilities. Find the facility you wish to reactivate and toggle the "Active" switch back on. This will resume data collection and access to the facility's information.
